YouTube shorts for channel growth

YouTube has many issues with their copyright claims and such and people ae so tired of it that they are leaving to TikTok and Twitch. TikTok is blowing YouTube out of the water. I had a couple of videos removed by YouTube they claimed they had sexual content. These where views of the game Dead Island were zombies are eating people. Not sure how killing zombies I sexual content but that’s YouTube for you. As you can imagine people are fed up with this. To get people back they created shorts to compete with TikTok.

If you are not me you can grow your channel with shorts, and I will explain how to use them. Your videos must be less than a minute, vertical (cell phone held like you are making a call), and you must put #shorts not #short in the title and/or description. It may not show up in the shorts immediately so give it some time. Your shorts should be like the content you already create, or you will get people to subscribe and unsubscribe a few days later. If you are not me this will grow your channel.

Except, India and a few other countries there is no short tab yet and there are not too many shorts that have been created so this is the best time to get in. I have created several shorts I hope you watch, and I hope you subscribe to my slowly growing YouTube gaming channel.

You cannot monetize shorts and if your videos are cycled into the short tab, it will not be monetized until it gets cycled out. Your videos must be at least 10 minutes long, anyway, to get decent ads though.

Just a bit off topic, I mentioned in another article I wrote, (please read all my writings), about Side Hustles and this is a good one. I mention I was on Kobo which I am no longer on. Writing shorts to grow your YouTube channel is a great side hustle and you cannot possibly do worse than me. If you do than you have my pity. I have been created YouTube videos for 5 years coming April 2021 and still have not topped 1000 subscribers, so pleas subscribe.

I do hope YouTube changes since I feel it is a great platform and I feel these shorts will help them. Do not copy other people’s shorts and you certainly do not want to use copyrighted material in your shorts. YouTube will slam your channel if you do.

The short I created and attached to this article is about Dead Space 4 I wish they would create. I mention that it would be great to play several characters such as Isaac and others that have shown up in previous installments as well as introduce new characters. I also hope they bring back the horror of Dead Space. You really should create shorts if you want to grow your channel.

I also put #shorts in the key words so you may want to do that. Also, make sure to always put your channel name in the key words so all your videos show up when people watch a video of yours. I hope your channel sees phenomenal growth and as I said you cannot possibly do worse than me so try it.

I am not sure when YouTube came up with shorts, but it will get you a lot of views and subscribers, I am sure of it. Good luck and I wish you and your channel well.
