Quantum Leap 2023 gone too soon

In this article I will discuss Quantum Leap 2023. Sadly, we only get two seasons of this show because the producers had to go out of their way to pretend whites and men don’t exist. you rarely saw a white male or any whites on this show. It was still a good show, worth watching but no one is going to believe that all the people in Salem were minorities and women. I read articles claiming it was a good thing since in times past minorities were not shown on TV. Of course this did not work out for the show. How about instead of fixing things we cannot fix, just make good shows with a nice mixture of different ethnicities and both men and women interacting with each other in a respectful way. I know that would be too hard for Hollywood since men bad, women good. I liked all the main characters in this show.
In the original Quantum Leap the evil leaper was able to leap before the time of her birth and when her or others like her came they leaped exactly the way Dr. Ben Song did. The person that was leaped into did not go to the holding chamber in the future. In the new Quantum Leap, Dr. Ben Song leaps into people and you never see that person. Also, in Quantum Leap 2023 we find out there was a nuclear holocaust in the future because others figured out Quantum Leap existed and were not in it to make the world better. In the original there is an episode where Dr. Sam Beckett leaps into an old man that believes aliens are going to take him, and the aliens do at the end. At one point Sam is taken by government officials and given truth serum in which he tells them about Quantum Leap. He was in the 1960’s I believe. It would have been nice if they could have gotten Scott Bakula to reprise his role for one episode where he is still leaping as himself and he tells them about that UFO incident. We can then have Dr. Ben Song try to leap back to that incident and get all the tapes as the Sam Beckett of that time runs off with the government officials after him. This way those tapes are never found.
Also, the episodes with the evil leaper does hint at an apocalypse. The woman really did not want to go back to her time and was threatened to go back were they found her. They were purposely trying to make things worse.
Who knows, one day we will get shows where they cast based on talent and not trying to pretend men and whites do not exist. Shows that do it are usually considered WOKE and do not do well. Perhaps they should not try to erase a certain segment of our population. On the other side you get crybabies that whine whenever there is a female or minority lead. Honestly, I get tired of their whining simply because a game, movie or TV show has a female or minority lead.
Quantum Leap 2023 was still in my opinion a good show and should be watched. Too bad there will not be a season three. It would have been nice to see Dr. Ben Song save the world from the nuclear holocaust and get those tapes the men took when they inject Dr. Sam Beckett with truth serum. Just seeing Dr. Sam Beckett and Dr. Ben Song together would have been nice. Dr. Ben Song could have told Sam about Al and his daughters too.
