My Idea for a New Sliders TV Show

In the 1990’s there was a very good science fiction TV show called sliders. Sadly, it was cancelled with a cliff hanger because of off screen shenanigans. If you don’t know the show had four people sliding from Earth to Earth trying to get home. Many of the cast would eventually leave. I would like a soft reboot, meaning that the original is still canon, but we have a new group of sliders in an alternate Earth similar to ours. This time they will not encounter such things as vampires, unless it’s some kind of infection or magic.
The original had a professor, his student who discovers sliding, his former girlfriend and an unlucky singer. This one will be similar except the professor will be an African American woman. Also, Rembrandt, who was the unlucky singer will just happen to be the grandson of this universe’s Rembrandt. We will also, have an episode were our four or five sliders travel to a world where the professor invented sliding 17 years earlier and with her student, our main character, perfected it. In that Universe they can tract wormholes and have a fail-safe so they can always get back home. There is also another fail safe that eliminates all data if the device falls in the wrong hands if the encryption is breached.
Our Sliders will make it to the world were the original sliders ended. We will find that the scientist DeeDee created a new sliding machine. She also, managed to find Colin and make him corporeal and created a device for him to wear so he will no longer be unstuck. She also separated Quinn and Malory by using bits of Quinn from millions of universes. We find out that Wade transferred herself into another Wade from another universe that was dying. Using what she learned from the Kromaggs she also makes it to the Earth from the final episode. Finally, we find out that Arturo was stranded on the Earth were our original Sliders thought they made it home and where he was taken hostage by the Arturo of that world. After a couple of years, he created a sliding machine and tracked the wormhole of the original sliders to Earth Prime where he worked with scientist to rid his world of the Kromaggs and we find out this is why the original Sliders could not Slide back but Rembrandt could. Arturo created a shield around Earth Prime that would have killed anyone not from that world. With Rembrandt, Arturo modifies the shield. We find out the Kromaggs have been defeated from all Earths and that many Kromaggs sided with the humans. The ones that didn’t got sent to an alternate Earth without their technology and are under constant surveillance.
The Professor from our new series starts off as arrogant and like the Arturo from the world were our original Arturo got stuck. Also, unlike many shows our Sliders will not act as if whites or males do not exist or are just background characters.
This can be on any streaming service, and I believe it would be popular. We can see a world were mustache man won the second world war and as well as an Earth were Doggerland, which once connected Britian to Europe never sank. We see a world, similar to the one mentioned in the original sliders were Europeans never colonized the Americas but instead traded with them. Perhaps the original characters get paid enough to make cameos in a few episodes as their doubles.
